On Tuesday, October 4, 2016, Three Rivers DDA/Main Street staff, board, committee chairs, and volunteers will take turns meeting with the staff of Michigan Main Street and the National Main Street Center for our Annual Accreditation visit. If you’d like to participate in getting or giving feedback on the program, or if you’d just like to get caught up on the latest news in Three Rivers’ downtown growth, including some of the exciting new businesses we have coming on the horizon, the public portion of the meeting will take place from 12:30 to 2:00 pm at Three Rivers City Hall. We hope to see you there!
As always, let us know if you have any questions by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Wed., July 13: Paint the Curb
The curbs in downtown Three Rivers are showing signs of their usual wear and tear, and the City has asked the DDA/Main Street and its Design Committee to step up and help beautify them. Come down and join us in the afternoon and evening with your work clothes on, and help put on fresh coats of yellow and blue! We’ll gather afterward for food and drink. Stay tuned for additional details, including exact meeting times and locations, and if you’re interested in participating, feel free to let us know any time!
Fri., July 15: Sass in the City
The popular, annual Sass in the City event — a ladies night out on Main Street — takes place on the third Friday in July this year. Ladies of all ages are welcome at this free event, where participants can look forward to shopping for deals and bargains at their favorite downtown businesses. As always, there will be live music, goodies, and giveaways. This annual event is organized and sponsored by the Three Rivers Merchant Group. Watch the event’s Facebook page for updates:
On Saturday, May 10th, 2014 the City of Three Rivers together with the Downtown Development Authority will be hosting our annual Three Rivers Community Pride Day and invite you to partner with us in the tradition of “washing down” our downtown area.
Last year we had just over 100 volunteers! This year’s goal is to have over 150 volunteers all working together for the purpose of bettering our community. Projects will include flower planting, weed pulling, and trash clean-up among many others.
We’ll start with donuts and refreshments at the Carnegie Center at 9:00 a.m. From there, groups will be assigned to specific locations. Most projects will last 2-3 hours, but we appreciate any time that you can give.
“WE ARE TR” t-shirts will also be available for purchase for $10! We encourage you to come out and show your community pride by wearing your purple.
If you are interested in volunteering, complete the form below and send to Three Rivers City Hall, 333 W. Michigan Avenue, Three Rivers, MI 49093. If you have any questions, you can email Melissa Bliss at email@example.com or call (269) 273-1632.
Thank you for your support!
